I believe in capturing the pure joy, the honest emotions, and the unforgettable moments of your day just as they unfold. My approach is all about letting you be you—no poses, just real laughter, shared glances, and the beautiful chaos that makes your love story unique.

Hi, I’m Alina – passionately working as a full-time third-wheeler, capturing love across europe since 2015.

  • When I’m not behind the camera or eating my favorite slice of cake, you’ll find me exploring the world or dancing to cringe-worthy music.

I have a soft spot for long summer nights and you can win me over with a good mousse au chocolat. I’m the kind of person who listens more than I talk, and I’ll admit: I’m a crier. If you shed a tear on your wedding day, there’s a good chance I’ll be right there with you, quietly wiping my eyes behind the camera.

Becoming a wedding photographer was the perfect choice for me — because it brings together everything I love in one incredible job.

  • Much of my childhood was spent painting and drawing in art school. Originally, I planned to become a graphic designer, but during my communication design studies in Dortmund, I discovered photography — and quickly realized it was what I wanted to pursue.

My early career focused on commercial photography, where I had the chance to work with brands like Manufactum, Adidas, Nike, and Weight Watchers. (You can find a glimpse of that work here: www.alinaschessler.com).

In 2015, I photographed my first wedding, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to wedding photography because this is what I love the most.

  • Documenting the connection between two people in a way that feels real and honest, is what I love. It’s not just about the classic couple’s portraits — it’s about all the little moments that happen in between. The stolen glances, giggles, Grandma’s teary eyes, or your uncle dancing on the tables by 11 p.m.

Those are the moments that tell the true story of your day, and those are the ones I’m here for.

  • Knowing that the photos I create will be cherished for generations — hung on walls, shared in photo books, and treasured as family heirlooms. These images don’t lose value over time; they grow more meaningful with each passing year. That’s what makes this work so special to me and why I can’t wait to capture your story!
